A Casting Sleeve Coupler is essentially a heavy-duty scaffolding fitting used to connect two scaffold tubes together (usually 48.3mm od) externally, allowing them to be joined end-to-end.
"Pressed" couplers are made from steel plates which have been stamped out and bent into shape, while "Casting" couplers are created by pouring molten materials into a mold, such as susceptible materials to breakage or failure. Because the casting process creates a single, solid part of the coupler, this results in a coupler being stronger and more durable than a pressed coupler.
By utilizing our Heavy-Duty Casting Sleeve Coupler, you can maximise the structural integrity of your scaffolding systems. Our casting sleeve couplers are designed to provide greater resistance against deformation compared with standard pressed couplers. Therefore, they are the preferred solution for civil engineering projects that are very complex or are for maintenance in very heavy industrial environments.
Features & Benefits
- High Durability: We use Malleable Cast Iron to manufacture our products, giving them long-term durability. Scaffolding Rental Companies can easily receive a good return on their inventory with our High Durability products.
- Global Compliance: Tested and certified to BS 1139 and EN 74 standards. Mill test certificates are available to satisfy demanding standards set forth by government and public utility projects.
- Grip/Safety: Internal ribbing provides extreme friction and an enhanced grip against standard scaffold tubes to prevent slippage, even when loaded heavily.
- Corrosion Resistant: Available in either Hot Dip Galvanized (HDG) or Electro-Galvanized finishes to survive the harshest outdoor environments and in marine-type climates.
