How much can a 15/17mm formwork wing nut hold?
- Our standard 15/17mm formwork wing nut has an ultimate breaking load of 180 KN to 190 KN. As such it is more than sufficient to counteract huge lateral forces of fresh concrete on the shuttering. As a result, our wing nut does not ‘strip’ or ‘crack’ under such loads.
Which standards are the formwork anchor nuts made to for export?
- Our formwork anchor nuts are produced and tested in accordance with the international scaffolding and formwork standards, i.e. EN 12811. We carry out a strict quality control from analysis of the raw materials up to the final load-cell destruction test. Material Test Certificates (MTC) are issued upon request to ensure compliance with individual projects.
